Ryan Hill Research Foundation

Since 1976

Building bridges from research to patient care

The Ryan Hill Research Foundation funds clinical research in diseases of the esophagus, lung, and breast — training researchers and developing treatments that directly improve patient outcomes.

Our Mission

The Ryan Hill Research Foundation funds clinical research that directly benefits patients by training researchers in diseases of the esophagus, lung, and breast; providing qualified researchers with opportunities to pursue innovative clinical projects; and developing products and procedures that enhance patient quality of life.

Founded by Dr. Lucius D. Hill, a Seattle thoracic and vascular surgeon, the Foundation carries forward his vision of enabling doctors to conduct scientific research free from institutional, governmental, and corporate control.
